Walker Family Home Evenings are anything but boring! It is always a challenge to keep the attention of a 2-year old, a 5-year old, an 8-year old, and an often tired husband :)! Ha ha. So, we try to keep things somewhat entertaining. This particular FHE, Jesi was in charge of the lesson. She had received a loaf of bread and some swedish fish from Primary in hopes that she and the rest of the children in her class would go home and teach their families about the miracle of Christ feeding the 5,000 with the few loaves and fishes. Jesi was determined to do this and we were all excited that she was so excited. She tends to shy away from being in charge of things, but has begun to feel very confident in our little Family Home Evenings. Anyway, I almost suggested a more reverent way to act out the story, but Jesi insisted that she needed to draw a beard and mustache on Daddy to "make him look like Jesus". I could almost guarantee tears if I resisted her plea, so we gave in and let her take the marker to Andy's face. We should have worked a little on the wardrobe, but Jesi was very happy with the outcome and it was a sweet evening!

A sweet and STICKY evening :)!
The kids' favorite treat for FHE has probably been S'mores.
This time we just broiled them in the oven because it was getting late!
Happy F.H.E.ing, everyone!
