We were so excited that my mom and my sister and her two daughters, who were living with my Mom and Kim for a semester while her husband did an internship, were able to join us for Mother's Group at the Aquarium. The kids had so much fun running around together.
The highlight for Drew was driving the "boat".
They were fascinated with the sea turtle!
And, our favorite part was probably the penguins. It was so fun to watch them swim around and the kids were able to learn a little bit about the different kinds of penguins and their different sizes.
Kassi was a little grumpy towards the end. Grandma tried to help by putting her up on her shoulders. I think she was ready for a nap, but my neighbors and I ended up stopping somewhere fun for lunch. She regained her energy pretty fast when she saw the play land! Amazing how that works!
Drew was so excited that his friend from school was able to join our group that day with her family! We didn't realize they were there until the end of our little tour of the aquarium, so they were very surprised to see each other!
