I have a lot of catching up to do, but I thought I'd start out by posting a few pictures of the boys' trip to Colorado back in October. Andy and all four of his brothers along with Drew and his cousin, Easton traveled to Colorado to visit their Grandma and Grandpa Starkey and had a great time. (That was the weekend Nicole, Jesi and I did a mini-makover to Drew's room.) Andy thought it would be fun to get a disposable camera for Drew to use, so I apoligize for the grainy pictures. The guys were excited to go to a Cowboys vs. Broncos game. Andy is the Cowboys fan in the family and Mike is the Broncos fan. But, the biggest Broncos fan of all would be their Grandma Starkey. So, this was the perfect time of year for them to make a visit and take her to a big game!
I think Drew decided Grandma and Mike chose the best team (the winning team). He says he is a Broncos fan now! Andy is trying to convince him that the Cowboys just had a bad game.

These pictures are of a castle that they visited. I guess some guy who is anti-government has built this huge thing himself?!? He has spent years and years building it. This adorable jacket that Drew is wearing was lost on the trip. Anyone seen it? Why is it that it is always the cutest articles of clothing that get lost?
Andy was happy that Grandma Starkey didn't want to climb all the stairs. It gave him an excuse to stay down there and keep her company. (Andy is deathly afraid of heights for those of you who don't know. But, he did manage to get up on our roof this year and put up Christmas lights! I was very proud!)
The guys sure did have a great time. They hit a snow storm on the way back (which was actually a day earlier than planned), so it took them quite a bit of time to get home that night, but that was probably good because I was completing Drew's bedroom until 2 or 3 AM. I'm so glad they had so much fun and now I think it's time to plan a girls' trip!!! Anyone up for it?
